I Am Sad

"God overlooked people’s ignorance about these things in earlier times, but now he commands everyone everywhere to repent of their sins and turn to him." - Acts 17:30 (NLT)

"Enthusiasm without knowledge is no good; haste makes mistakes." - Proverbs 19:2 (NLT)

"If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking." - James 1:5 (NLT)

"You simple people, use good judgment. You foolish people, show some understanding." - Proverbs 8:5 (NLT)

This is a sad time. That there is really not a clear winner in our Presidential election. It hasn't happened before. The counting of votes that should have been done by Tuesday night was... well, extended to many days by some states. What appeared to be a leading contender well ahead that night was surprisingly overtaken by the opponent the following day. In a matter of a few hours in the middle of the night when everyone or most people were asleep, were awaken by what was a visibly total loss of the current leader.

I am sad like you. Perhaps, I am angry like you. Why is it taking a long time for the declared winner to start working since the media endlessly reported about the failures of the current leader's handling of the so called pandemic known as "COVID 19?"When so many people, they said, died and were infected by it?

Yes, I'm tired like you. I'm tired of wearing masks and putting myself in confinement of my home when sometimes, all I want is to go get a few grocery items, sans my mask and be able to clear my throat without people nearby looking at me like I'm causing death to those who surround me.

Yes, I don't feel good like you. Of seeing "peaceful protests" continue and in a peaceful way, burn buildings, physically assault people who happen to be in those gatherings, peacefully confront quiet diners, who perhaps, are so excited to go out finally and enjoy a quiet dinner, people who are wanting a much needed rest, only to be awaken by peaceful yells of profanities and hateful statements.

But... I still rejoice...

I know that what I see is unseen. I know that the true enemies like to roar like lions!

I know that there are so many working in the dark and many people are quick to believe what they see, what they hear.

Yes... I am sad... I am angry... Knowing that this election was stolen. But God's plan will prevail! And as for us believers, who do you choose to serve?

  1. Was stolen...no, not was. They tried, but all is being revealed. Hold on.

  2. I can't even comprehend the extent of corruption done in the dark! For a long time! It is stolen but what lies! I know God will show the truth and expose everything in His Light! The real winner will prevail. What's sad are those who are led to believe the lies. It's lack of knowledge that destroys one. I am holding on sister. Knowing that the truth will come out in God's timetable. He is always in control.

  3. So much hatred, and venom, and lies. Truly we are in the midst of serious spiritual warfare. I feel sad for many things as well, but also for our president, that the good things he did were never publicized. The media did nothing but tear him down and spread lies. His personality leaves a lot to be desired, I know, but he does love our country, which was the only reason he ran for office. He was never a politician, or had any desire to be one. Unfortunately, people have believed the lies and voted personality rather than policy. There were some excellent sermons preached before the election, but unfortunately too late because due to the pandemic, so many people voted early and/or mailed in their ballots early, so even though they may have been convicted by the message from the pulpit, they couldn't change their vote. My heart goes out to our president and his family. I can't even imagine what it must be like to be targeted the way he has been. Did you know he was nominated for three Nobel peace prizes for the peace treaties he negotiated between Israel and several other countries? The media never publicized things like that.

  4. Thank you for your visit. I agree with everything you mentioned about the president. I knew about his nominations but I also knew he wouldn't win knowing how this world operates. I feel he's not concerned about winning that Nobel prize. I see him as truly a hard working man who loves God and the American people that he truly wants to help with all of his heart. From day one, this president has endured many, many darts from the spiritual enemies. But I see God's grace, wisdom and protection over him and those who serve this country with him.
As for the votes, I don't think it would matter even if everyone voted for him. There is an unseen evil plan that already would make the least popular and unfit opponents win. What I can't comprehend are believers who are quick to agree with what they hear from the media and are quick to be partakers of their plans. Didn't the Lord tell us not to have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness for with Him, believers should live in the Light. We are to be careful how we live, not as unwise but be wise.
I can't wait for the day to come when all those deeds done in darkness are exposed in God's Light. It's truly jaw dropping!

  5. Hi Rosel,
I always leave everything to God and do not get into politics. The main thing at this moment in time is to pray for everyone who is at risk of getting this virus. We live on a peninsular that is not very highly populated, and we have worn a mask if we have to go to the local shop. I remember laughing at my husband for buying a full size freezer when we already had a fridge freezer. Now I see that all things have worked together as the freezer is a really good one and we can keep food in it for many months. Also there is a local shop in our area which sells locally produced food, so now we can just get any extras any time. I now see the whole picture.

  6. "What is happening now has happened before, and what will happen in the future has happened before, because God makes the same things happen over and over again." - Ecclesiastes 3:15

Hi there sister. I also trust and know that the Lord is always in control. I also don't like politics but I also know that we can't avoid it. It's everywhere even in churches. It's famous to hear the phrase "What would Jesus do?" But my prayer is always "Lord, what do you want me to do?"

I wrote about the political atmosphere because not all news are factual and true. Many truths are censored and this is a huge spiritual attack. I can only hope to inform and remind brothers and sisters to not be asleep and judge with the right judgment (situations or those events needing discernment from God) and not be unwise but wise in the eyes of the Lord. These are trying times and I always believe the Lord is wanting many to turn to Him. So, yes, prayers are very vital each day not only for everything but especially for us, believers as the battles go on when we make decisions. Even this virus, no one truly knows the truth in battling it and what can save the people. So I pray the Lord will reveal everything about it and help those already suffering and protect everyone specially the vulnerable ones. God bless and protect you and it doesn't hurt to always be prepared. Much more with our spiritual state. Stay strong in the Lord's mighty power. Thank you.

  7. Happy Thanksgiving my dear sister and friend. I hope you didn't eat too much turkey. My brother sent me the funniest meme: two military guys with AR15's pounding on a civilian's door shouting "Come out. We know you have a 12-16 lb turkey in there." I have a different viewpoint from Brenda. I think the church is powerful and gifted so much more than the world yet they have not shown up amidst the culture wars. I think the Lord is very much involved in every detail of getting the victory in our government. I always have. So your post thrills me and with all the Scriptures to encourage us. Now that's what I call hearing the Lord and being about His business. Love and prayers of Thanksgiving today for a great God and dear friends, like you!

  8. Thank you sister Mary. Funny meme. No turkey for us sister. Not fond of it. Just simple things! :) I agree with you regarding the church's position in these trying times. Aren't true believers to judge the angels someday? I can understand Christians asleep because they're not getting facts about matters. But what I don't understand are those claiming to be Christians yet are quick to follow deceptive, spiritual plans that are totally against the teaching of the Lord.
This is indeed a huge spiritual battle and if one doesn't arm himself/herself with the things of God, anyone could be easily blinded and not discern the true state of this nation. There is a huge plan done in the darkest place to attack this whole nation and God even from the past but nothing like this that is really bold in committing such evil deeds. But I also know that God works in mysterious ways that I know when He's truly using someone willing to follow Him, then He will turn everything into good when that person loves Him. I don't need to know who the real deal is because all we need to do is look at the fruits of their deeds. No matter what name evil people give to the new world order, it is the time for Great Awakening for those who are called by God. I know something will be revealed in His perfect time and all these evil deeds done would be exposed by Him. I think that meme might apply at that time. 2 military guys pounding on the door with their AR 15's and whatever else to get the turkeys (losers). Blessings to you sister. Let's keep on praying. Least we can do. God bless us all and protect us and many deceived I pray be drawn to His truth and light and way.

  9. Have you ever heard the song "Everything Sad is Coming Untrue" by Jason Gray?

  10. No. But thank you for sharing. I know God works in mysterious ways and spiritually speaking, I know that all the darkest and evil plans would be exposed under His Light. I know He always has the victory. What's sad is no one rebukes evil deeds.

    1. Just a few days now until Congress meets to accept the Electoral College votes. There are already a slew of them who say they will challenge the outcome.

    2. How thoughtful of you for the update. I am aware sister. Thank you. However, I'm waiting for whatever evidence the President's team will present before Congress that isn't heard of yet by anyone. No matter the outcome, I know the Lord is in control of everything. In evilness, He is calling many to turn to Him. That's my prayer. For many to turn to Him and repent. So that we can be healed. God bless you.

  15. Your comment on my blog post today left me laughing so hard!!! You know, our daughter,Amy, dropped by yesterday and I took a piece of that pie out of the freezer for her to go with her coffee. She ate every bite and told me it was my best pie yet. Then she took a pic with her phone and sent it to Carrie with a promise to save her a slice when she comes next weekend to visit. I laughed so hard at those two. I hope all is well by you. Since my foot swelled a little, I promised my doctor to stay less active this week so as not to loosen the wire. I watch the Health and Freedom Conference streamed online from Tulsa this weekend of all the patriots, doctors, pastors, etc. and felt energized about my faith. You would enjoy it, I think.

    1. Thank you sister Mary! Your visits don't go unnoticed :) But even if you don't I feel all the love and prayers from you. I appreciate those! Same with your faith and own testimony! They truly gets rub off with me. The more inspired I am and my faith grows every time I hear from you. Indeed! These are very evil times! But the Lord knows them all. I remain trusting and believing that He's working in mysterious ways! True justice is from Him alone! He can't be mocked! So, I stand in agreement with your prayers. Pray we must in all occasions! God bless and strengthen you always sister and your whole, beautiful family. By God's grace, my family and I are doing well despite the darkness. No space nor any boundaries will hinder the Lord's love and grace to shine through!!!
