Fatherless?

"See how very much our heavenly Father loves us, for he allows us to be called his children, and we really are! But the people who belong to this world don't know God, so they don't understand that we are his children. Yes, dear friends, we are already God's children, and we can't even imagine what will be like when Christ returns. But we do know that when he comes we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. And all who believes this will keep themselves pure, just as Christ is pure." ~ 1 John 3:1-3

When I started understanding how much God loves us, I am so thrilled to know that He indeed calls us His children! Now!!! Not just tomorrow or sometime in the future. I want to greet all of you awesome "fathers" out there a Happy Father's Day, starting with my loving husband, and my own earthly father who I miss so much!

But praise Your Holy Name, my [our] Abba Father! Thank You for Your unconditional love. For accepting us and giving us self-worth as Your children! Thank You for loving us first Father. I love you. Please bless all the fathers. Empower them to do the right thing for their families. Help them to be a loving example of Your ways. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
