Don't look into the past because it's gone. Don't look far ahead since no one truly knows what tomorrow brings except God. Let us look up into the heavens each day. He is waiting. Always waiting with acceptance, love and forgiveness. God is indeed faithful. For many generations.
This is a great word. I use to work with a fella who lived in the 60's era. At first it was fun to listen to the music and listen to his 60's banter but I got bored. When I plan too much for future days, I lose sight of today and all that God has for me. Ah, the present!
ReplyDeleteI miss a lot of moments from the past sister Mary and sometimes, I wish I can stop time. Who can? Then I'm curious about what tomorrow brings. Until I learned to try to be still and just keep trusting the Only One Who knows it all. Praying for the "present" :) God bless.
ReplyDeleteYou have demonstrated how just a few words and a beautiful picture can bring peace in a storm. We do not know what tomorrow brings but our beautiful Father God does, and when we believe and trust in His precious Son - our Lord Jesus - then we have that peace, as His thoughts are for our welfare and not to harm us. God bless you with all the peace He has for us.
