2019 Prayer

Illustration of the Bible Verse Psalm 143:8

Lord, another year is here. Though there will be uncertainties, give us courage and increase our faith, knowing that with faith and trust in You, then, there's no room for fear and worries no matter what comes our way. I believe Your faithful and true promises to always be there with us up to the end of the age. Guide us Lord and give us Your discernment especially in these times where there are many spiritual deceptions. For Your ways and thoughts are higher than ours. Expose the lies in our lives under Your light and help us commit our ways to You, Lord. To live holy lives as You command for You are a Holy God!

Thank You Lord for the hope You give us in this dark place. For shining Your Light to show us the narrow path that leads to salvation. For being the Way to eternal life. For being our Everything knowing that apart from You, we truly are nothing.

Help us Lord this year to overcome any unseen obstacles that come our way in our journey. Thank You Lord for loving us first. Thank You for Your love, grace, and mercy. Help me Lord to reflect Your light in everything that I say or do. Remind me that the best New Year's resolution I can have is to love You first. To seek You first each day. I love You Lord. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

  3. I can say 'Amen' to every word you have prayed here. I spent some time in my life as a prison visitor and I found that those people are just the ones who are caught. There are many who are breaking the law of the land who are put in high places of esteem by man. The only way we can have 'good' in our lives is to have God in our lives. I pray that the gospel of Jesus, our Lord and Saviour will reach more and more those who do not know Him as we love God and love one another.

  4. Beautiful humble prayer. I love hearing the heart-felt prayers of others.
They echo my own own heart. Though we are each unique in our own right,
He blends us together in unity by His Spirit. Hearts intertwined by His Grace.
Excited to travel this new season with you, sister...as we continue to occupy,
    while walking each other HOME!

Thanks for being here..for your presence in bloggerville.
You're an anchor in my world...past, present and looking forward
    towards the future...with our KING.

Blessings of Strength and Favor rest upon you..You are His Beloved!

  5. I need to mosey on down here and read this prayer more often in 2019, especially the part where I ask God for discernment in so much spiritual deception. I am convinced the enemy is hostile these days as God uses His people and His ways to straighten things out in our nation, the church and our personal lives. Thank you for supporting me in my journey of healing. I feel your prayers. Had my second visit with the surgeon who has done thousands of these types of surgeries and I am more comforted. April 15 is my big day. Have to be at the hospital at 5:30 a.m. for my 7:30 surgery. It's finally going to happen for me, Rosel! God is blessing me with a good surgeon (great hospital in Phoenix) and a friend like you who cares. Amy plans to help me in recovery and is taking off work for a few weeks. Am I blessed? Sending you a special hug for all you do. I know the power of prayer and you have mine as well!
