I saw their smirk on the corners of my eyes. I felt the heat of being mocked. Not by these human faces I was facing behind a closed door meeting. They felt good thinking that I had no defense at all with what they wanted to say. With what they wanted to do. But I remained unmoved! They wanted to see me hurt. They wanted my tears to flow. None of that happened. They wanted to see me scared or cower. I never felt as strong as I did. It was not because of my own strength. I knew He was there with me. Sustaining me with His.
The battle hasn’t even begun. I want to thank all of you for your prayers. I cried on my way home, tired after a busy night at work I had weathered. Tired after a scheduled conference right after work that didn’t leave me any room to be prepared. I cried because I wasn’t afraid. I cried because I wasn’t weak.
I cried because I found myself praying the same words He did….
Jesus said, “Father, forgive these people, because they don’t know what they are doing…”
I cried because once, I was like them. I cried because His grace was granted to me. So undeserved. I cried because I knew what ground I was standing on. On the Rock!
They were proud to be in power….but “pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.” [Proverbs 16:5]
They favored some….but “in God there is no partiality.” [Acts 10:34-35]
They wanted to plan for someone’s destiny….but they have missed to see the right road [Proverbs 15:22]
They wanted to think that they were doing the right thing…”but it’s only the Lord Who examines their motives.” [Proverbs 16:2]
They thought they had the right answer to this trial….”but only the Lord gives the right answer.” [Proverbs 16:1]
They might scheme whatever they wanted to think….”but it was the Lord Who has made everything for His own purposes.” [Proverbs 16:4]
Lord, thank You for this trial I am in. If this will bring glory to You, it is a privilege to be Your vessel. I pray that through this, people involved will come to know You instead. For them to know Your love, Your mercy, Your grace. Thank You Father for Your children who are praying and interceding for me. I pray that You bless them all the more and especially the ones, who are facing their own life’s storms. Father, please help us to remain strong. But thank You, for without You, we are truly nothing. Thank You for Your faithfulness. Thank You for always making a way when we are stranded in the desert or reach a dead end on a road that we are walking on. Thank You for Your power and might that sustain us. May You be glorified in everything for You alone deserve that. They don't know Lord.....behind this warrior is only a child! Glory be to You Oh Lord! I love You Lord! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Close your ears to everything except Him....He won't let you down...not now or ever. He promised....Praying for you Rosel....no weapon formed against you will or can prosper but He lets us go through stuff and if the doors close....know that He has closed them. Stay strong okay
ReplyDeleteYou are never alone.
ReplyDeleteFrom far away, His Spirit promps prayer
Just for You
Just as you need it.
And it is always done, according to His Will.
"Pray for My Rosel NOW", He insists.
Though deaf to the sounds of man, the voice of God is clear and loud, able to reach inside and say "My Rosel has free will".
"She needs Me; interceding prayer trumps her free will. Will YOU intercede that I may act, and trump her free will now?"
A resounding "Yes" is heard in heaven from the East Coast to the West Coast. He acts.
Daniel prayed three weeks.
Reinforcements were needed, for resistance was great. But the message from God was simple:
"Your prayer was answered on the first day".
Blocked prayer is being reinforced anew.
His answer for YOU Rosel, was made on the first day of prayer.
Weeks of prayer continue, and continue, until the answer arrives to you.
And it will be awesome!
He always does that for those whom He loves.
THAT....would be you.
You are never alone.
God be with ye!

Denise is correct.
Should you need a jot and tittle alone, keystoneinpa@gmail.com will respond.
Matt 5:18 "For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled."
In other words, the BEST, is yet to come.
Rosel,
ReplyDeleteI know it seems like an odd time to request this but would you please come to my blog and read my latest post called "no words to describe". I want you to come and see what it was that you were praying me through for the last year. You had such an impact on my life and I dont want you to reason that statement away at all. God always wins. Love to you!
Exodus 10:1 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the heart of his servants, that I may show these signs of mine among them, 2 and that you may tell in the hearing of your son and of your grandson how I have dealt harshly with the Egyptians and what signs I have done among them, that you may know that I am the Lord.” Take comfort in the fact that our God is just as much in control of sinners as He is of us who believe. He is always in control so that He can display His glory. When God hardens the sinners in your world, it’s giving Him an opportunity to show you His power in our weakness.
ReplyDeleteExodus 5:22 Then Moses turned to the Lord and said, “O Lord, why have you done evil to this people? Why did you ever send me? 23 For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in your name, he has done evil to this people, and you have not delivered your people at all.” Because of the rebellion, there is no salvation apart from suffering. That was true in Exodus in Egypt and it was true in the Gospels in Jerusalem at Calvary. It is also true in our lives. In a broken world there is no salvation without suffering. Let this fact help us understand how to interpret the evil God brings our way. Evil in our life is not a sign that God has abandoned us; it’s the opposite!
Dear Rosel,
ReplyDeletePsalm 18 is God's word for you today.
I am lifting you up... you are not alone in this battle.
Love

Praying for you sister. May the Lord open a door, or even a window of opportunity as you work through this trial with Him, carried in God's hand. I see you standing strong on John 10:27-30. I pray that God would open the eyes of the spiritually blind that they may find a "saving" faith in Jesus that will transform their hearts.
