Just A Summer Reminder

Water is H2O, hydrogen two parts, oxygen one, but there is also a third thing, that makes water and nobody knows what that is.
~ D.H. LAWRENCE (1885-1930), Pansies, 1929

This is not my usual post. Just a friendly summer reminder... With the intense heat we had from the past days and I know some areas where you are also had suffered from the summer heat, do not forget to hydrate yourself with WATER. Dehydration is a bad thing to happen in your body. Be careful that you don’t keep drinking too much iced teas, alcoholic drinks or sodas. They are diuretics and will actually do more harm than good.

Water is essential and so it is with the history of mankind. And His…Have a blessed weekend to all of you. Thinking about you all in thoughts and prayers. Thank you for yours.

On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’”

—John 7:37-38

  5. Twice I've gotten myself into situations where I found myself dehydrated and it was not a circumstance that I ever wish to get caught in again. It literally took me days to recover. i now carry bottled water with me and drink water often in the heat. It is truly dangerous, and the Lord needs us all to reach one more for Him, so drink up. Thanks for the reminder.

  14. Good on you...people need to be reminded of this and often. When dehydrated the body bloodpressure falls rapidy. Overdrinking when not needed is unwise also....but to drink what the body asks for is the best.
I'm so glad you pointed out about the tea's.
God Bless you my sister. Hugs

  18. Shalom Rosie,

    You quoted:

"Water is H2O, hydrogen two parts, oxygen one, but there is also a third thing, that makes water and nobody knows what that is.
    ~ D.H. LAWRENCE (1885-1930), Pansies, 1929"

I'm reminded of the newest findings of science where there is force by which all matter comes together and is kept. Science calls it "Dark Matter". There is another force that appears to be trying to tear us apart and they call it "Dark Energy". The name adjective "Dark" is used because they can't shed any light on it in order to understand it. They can't see these forces but they see evidence of them. Isn't this what the Bible means in Colossians 1:17.

"He existed before all things, and he holds all things together."

I pray that all will see the evidence of God and look to him.

Keep up the good work and I'll see you at the southern gate, my sister.

    Shalom Tov,
    Keith
