Friends, lifting you all up in my prayers. The Lord knows all of our needs. Praying for humbleness to be in our daily walk with Him. Through that, we are able to seek His guidance. His will.
Jesus is the Supreme example of humility.
"Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death - even death on a cross!"
~ Phillippians 2:5-8
May you all be empowered by the Lord's might and power as you do the important work for His Kingdom [we all do!]. In your weakness, be reminded He is our strength. In your lack of supplies, He is our Greatest Provider. In sickness, He is our Greatest Physician. With your thirst, He is our Source of Living Water. No matter what dire consequences you are facing, He is the Source of joy! May God bless you all richly and may you continue to focus on looking up ahead, straight, onto Jesus! May you all have a wonderful week, being strong in the Lord's mighty power. To God be the glory always!
Please enjoy this wonderful song and reminder:

Your words, and the video blessed my day sis. I love you.
ReplyDeleteI loved what you wrote:
ReplyDelete"No matter what dire consequences you are facing, He is the Source of joy!"
I have to add an amen to that. What a great reminder for me today.
I loved the song and video you chose. What a blessing and important reminder. You are such a good example of being a servant as you serve many of the unwanted, unloved people in our society. I know you bring the love of Christ to them each day.
Hugs to you,
Debbie
That is exactly what I needed to be reminded of today. I won't go into all the long details here (do you have an email addy I can send it to ?) but I am dealing with more "drama" from the ex involving custody of my youngest daughter. I know God is in control and I just have to trust that he is going to protect both of us and not allow this situation to steal my joy.
ReplyDeleteThis song goes perfectly with that passage from Phillippians. May we truly be His servants; exactly where He wants us to be doing what He wants us to do.
ReplyDeleteWonderful post my friend. Love the song so much.
ReplyDeleteHappy summertime. Enjoy your weekend.
God bless.

Hey sweet friend! I pray you have a wonderfully blessed day and weekend (if I don't "see" you before then).
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful song. God help me be more like Him and serve with a humble heart.
Love & hugs to you!

Rosel,
ReplyDeleteThis is a true reminder that we live in this life only to glorify God in all that we say and do. May we always have a servants attitude.
