Kayaking

My family and I discovered the fun of kayaking. As novice kayakers, there are so many things to learn. My husband bought the inflatable kinds so we didn't need to worry about buying the racks for the car and with storing them. Off we went to the bay to try them out! It was so much fun! I love the "tandem kayak" which was made for two people. I enjoyed paddling with my son and we talked a lot as we paddled. Though I wasn't as experienced as the others, I sat on the back since I was bigger and I could steer better when my son got tired. The person sitting on the back is more able to direct the kayak and steer it better in making decisions where to go. It's like being the "captain". Tandem kayaks are best for those people who want to try this out with a partner who's more experienced than them.
Spiritually speaking, I want to go kayaking with the Lord. If we make Him the "Captain" in our kayaks of life, nothing will go wrong. I know that when I get tired and feel weak from paddling, He is there to help me steer the kayak [my life] and make it head to the right direction.
"I don't care about my own life. The most important thing is that I complete my mission, the work that the Lord Jesus gave me - to tell the people the Good News about God's grace."- Acts 20:24
Jesus said to me, " My grace is enough for you. When you are weak, My power is made perfect in you." So I am very happy to brag about my weaknesses. Then Christ's power can live in me. - 2Corinthians 12:9
Jesus said, "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your souls." - Matthew 11:28-29
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." - Proverbs 3:5
"With God's power working in us, God can do much, much more than anything we can ask or imagine." - Ephesians 3:20
